‘શેરડીનો પાક 10થી 11 મહિના, લગભગ એક વર્ષ સુધી ચાલે છે. જો શેરડીને આપેલા પાણીનું માપ કાઢીએ તો તે અઢી મીટર પાણી છે. તેનો અર્થ એ કે શેરડીને લગભગ 8 કે 7 ફૂટ પાણીની જરૂર પડે છે.’
