Although the Poonamallee–Vadapalani corridor has become operational, the construction work on six metro stations between Porur and Vadapalani remains incomplete—nearly 10 months past the original deadline. It is reported that these stations are unlikely to be ready for use until March 2027, leaving local residents disappointed.
