Mumbai: Mahhi Vij’s emotional confession inside the Bigg Boss 20 house has now drawn a response from Jay Bhanushali. After the actress revealed that she refused alimony during their divorce proceedings, Jay assured her that his support for her and their daughter Tara would continue.
Jay’s message to Mahhi and Tara
Responding to Mahhi’s revelation, Jay said, “You and Tara will always be my responsibility for life.” He also made it clear that money would never come between them and that their changed marital status would not diminish his love and respect for her.
His response comes after Mahhi opened up about motherhood and financial independence on the reality show. The actress became emotional while discussing her daughter’s future and her decision to manage her financial responsibilities independently.
What Mahhi said about refusing alimony
During the conversation, Mahhi revealed that the judge had asked her four times to reconsider her decision against accepting alimony. However, she stood by her choice, explaining that Jay had worked hard to earn his money and she did not want to ask him for it.
Mahhi also clarified that Jay remained willing to help. She shared that he encourages her to take time for herself and offers to look after Tara, while her own priorities continue to revolve around their daughter.
While Mahhi has expressed her wish to secure Tara’s future independently, Jay’s response carries a clear assurance: his support for both of them will remain.
