The West Bengal government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the stampede at the Chorbagan Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata on October 17. The team will be headed by retired Justice Anindita Roy Saraswati and has been directed to submit its report within three months.
